You can’t beat Bush’s culture warriors for optimism. Even as a study shows “Abstinence Classes Don’t Stop Sex,” the director finds a silver lining.
"There is no evidence that the programs increased the rate of sexual abstinence," says a researcher who oversaw the study. "However...we find no evidence that the programs increased the rate of unprotected sex."
It’s good to hear that abstinence courses are not an aphrodisiac. But even if they fail, the Bushies can fall back to Plan B, secondary viriginity.
