Undeclared but ahead of Romney in the polls, Newt Gingrich is still showing that unerring instinct for his own jugular. Yesterday he told a huge crowd of 100, "We should replace bilingual education with immersion in English so people learn...the language of prosperity, not the language of living in a ghetto."
Neatly put. Another day in the news for Gingrich, another decade's setback for the Republican party's effort to win over Hispanic American voters.
