Asked last night whether they believed in evolution, three of ten Republican candidates indicated they didn’t, roughly the same percentage as that of Americans who think that President Bush is doing a good job.
The President himself believes in teaching “both sides” of the subject of creation, a position he does not extend to debating the war in Iraq.
The Lord moves in mysterious ways.
