Treasury Flacks for Bush Hater

Michael Moore, who skewered George Bush in “Farenheit 9/11,” now has the President’s Treasury Department promoting his new documentary, “Sicko.”

The Department has notified Moore it is investigating his trip to Cuba while making the film about the American health care system.

Now everybody in the civilized world is hearing about it as Moore’s associates publicize the letter.

In a statement Thursday, "Sicko" producers asserted the “politically motivated investigation...will not stop us from making sure the American people see this film," revealing that a copy has been secreted in a “safe house outside the country.”

Unannounced Republican Presidential candidate Fred Thompson is also doing his bit to promote “Sicko” by disparaging it publicly.

With enemies like these, who needs friends?
