If you think right-wing nut cases are America’s only problem, you may want to glance at a poll that shows 35 percent of Democrats think George Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened and another 26 percent are not sure. Overall, 22 percent of all Americans share this paranoid fantasy.
This comes from a reputable polling firm, Rasmussen Reports, and one can only hope that the margin of error is between a lot and are-you-serious.
In George Bush’s America, it is not easy to be a rational human being but, if this is what he is doing even to those who disagree with him, we may be in for more trouble than we thought for longer than we thought.
