April ended with the major networks each getting their first claim on vile celebrity, almost as if they had taken part in a draft like professional football teams.
NBC got the Virginia Tech massacrer, CBS’ 60 Minutes snared George Tenet and the DC Madam bestowed her favors on ABC. Fox, as always, had first dibs on the White House crew and vice versa.
As yet, there is no definitive word on who won the ratings war for killers and whores.
